Dr. Zaira Martín Moldes obtained her Ph.D. at this lab in 2014. Her research job is focused on the study of a protein involved in the global adaptation of the bacteria Azoarcus sp. CIB to different environmental contaminants such as hydrocarbons.
Zaira received her BSc. in Biochemistry at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) (2004-2009), doing the Bachelor Thesis in molecular biology of Parkinson’s Disease in Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas-CSIC (Spain). In 2010 she obtained her MSc. in Biotechnology of Microorganisms at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
